Human Resources Coordinator

**The Role**
Our Brisbane People and Development (P&D) team is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator on a 12 month fixed-term contract reporting to the Brisbane P&D Manager and aligned to the People Connect Manager based in Sydney. This role will be an integral part of the National People Connect team which provides generalist support to employees and Partners of the firm.
You will be articulate, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive, proactive team player. Experience in HR administration is highly desirable.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Managing end-to-end employee life cycle administration: onboarding, offboarding, parental leave, secondments etc.
- Working collaboratively with People Connect team members in other local offices to support with national projects and monitor the teams shared inbox and phone line
- Maintaining employee data and information in Workday, our HRIS
- Assisting P&D Managers/Consultants with basic reporting (basic data analysis, pivot tables, V-Lookups, data audits)
- Coordinating the Brisbane new starter orientation program
- Maintaining practising certificates for legal practitioners
- Assisting with national cyclical projects such as performance and remuneration reviews and talent reviews
- Building strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining HR procedure documents in accordance with new processes and legislation
- Developing a thorough understanding of our policies and procedures and relevant employment awards, allowing you to respond to a broad range of employee queries
**Skills & Experience**:
- Degree or TAFE qualified in Human Resources or alike (advantageous)
- Experience in a Human Resource Coordinator or Administrator (advantageous).
- Strong customer service mindset
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using a HRIS such as Workday (advantageous)
- Proven abilities in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience working within the legal profession or professional services industry (advantageous)
- Work flexibly, with hybrid home and office work arrangements supported
- Grow your HR career by participating in mentoring programs and regular development sessions
- Develop your internal & external network through professional memberships, community volunteering and regular firm events
- Work with specialist teams to support project delivery in a variety of spaces: Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent & Reward, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Systems etc.
**The People and Development (P&D) team**
With a presence in each of our offices, the national P&D team forms part of our Business Advisory Services department. The P&D team provides strategic business partnering support to the business on P&D issues, driving and delivering a range of initiatives to ensure that Clayton Utz is a great place to work.
