Our client, a prominent manufacturer and restorer of Timber Bridges, is seeking an experienced Storeperson to efficiently manage their warehouse located in Deception Bay. This is a key role that involves overseeing the inventory and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.

**As the sole storeperson, you will be responsible for the following tasks**:

- Preparing orders, including materials and tools, and consolidating them for shipment to the designated sites.
- Utilizing Google Docs or similar tools to maintain a detailed inventory record of incoming and outgoing goods, tools, and accessories.
- Operating a forklift to facilitate the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Keeping the warehouse yard clean and performing necessary yard maintenance tasks.
- Being available for paid overtime, when required, to guarantee timely dispatch of orders and meet project deadlines.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications and skills, in addition to a positive attitude and the ability to manage a small warehouse effectively:

- Prior experience in inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking and management of stock.
- Proficiency in data entry to maintain precise inventory records.
- Familiarity with order picking procedures to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Previous warehousing experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a small team environment.
- Proactive nature with the capability to adapt to new challenges seamlessly.
- Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 20kg.
- Previous yard management experience is beneficial.
- Valid forklift license to operate equipment safely.
