We are looking for Cablers (Data and Telecommunications) to join our WA team.

**About the Role**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Attaching wires and cables to appliances.
- Installing cabling for telephone, radio, pay TV, and computer transmission.
- Installing telecommunications equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards, and data transmission equipment.
- Joining cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplastic.
- Preparing, handling, maintaining hygiene, and terminating ribbon and multi-core fibre for fibre installation.
- Integrating FTTN, FTTB, and FTTC equipment.
- Locating faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and transmission measuring equipment.
- Adjusting, replacing, and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments.
- Erecting, testing, and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennae.
- Conducting safety and quality inspections and reporting non-conformances.
- Examining drawings, specifications, and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment being installed.

**Qualifications and Requirements to be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following skills and experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cabling and troubleshooting on a major telecommunications network
- NBN Enable qualification (required)
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification (required)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) (required)
- Relevant cabling and testing certifications (required)
- Traffic Management Card (Yellow Card) (preferred)
- Confined Space and Gas Detection certification (preferred)
- Working at Heights certification (preferred)
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks
- Demonstrated "can-do" attitude and proactive approach
- Valid Australian C Class Driver’s Licence (required)
- Police Check issued within the last 6 months, with no convictions (required)
- Willingness to receive annual Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (required for work in Aged Care sector)

Pay: $76,600.00 - $78,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Salary packaging

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
