Front of House Supervisor

**Mack Daddy's New York Slice is Perth's Premier New York Style Pizza Joint**. We are a loud, funky and unconventional venue that holds great pride in our quality for food, drinks and service. Mack Daddy's was established 4 years ago, from a small take away corner shop to a 180 person venue. We are now preparing to expand our strong brand by building a stronger team in our OG store.

**The Role**:
The FOH Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient running of the Venues food and beverage operations front of house, in line with the directors strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. Reporting to the managing director, you will supervise and manage the day-to-day operations alongside the head chef.

We are looking for someone to lead and inspire our team into the future, it is preferred that the applicant has a strong hospitality background with a strong focus on customer service, team building, and brand development.

**To be successful in this role it is essential for the following attributes**:

- Coaching and developing your FOH and BOH team members to lead and motivate them to reach success for themselves and the brand.
- Overseeing the recruitment and training of your team including identifying and implementing career development plans
- Maintaining regular communication with your team to achieve results
- Work closely with the director, marketing and wholesale teams to develop and implement systems to drive retail performance
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, procedures and OH&S and food safety procedures
- Contributing to business strategy and future development in Senior Management meetings
- Weekend work - Your role requires across a 7-day cycle between the hours of approximately 2:30pm
- 10:00pm. You are expected to be working on the weekends and will need to be on call and available to support your team when the need arises.

The business isn't perfect yet, however we do have excellent systems and procedures for daily routines and operations that facilitate and support this role. With your experience you may lead this into more improvement and better systems.

**You MUST have**:

- Minimum 2 years in a hospitality supervisory role with at least 1 year as a team leader.
- Strong ability to build rapport and engagement with your team to get the best results
- Ability to get things done - You must be able to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Effective delegation skills - You can’t do it all yourself. You will need to lean on your team members.
- Must be very approachable to staff and customers alike
- A positive approach to what you do coupled with a good sense of humour
- A hands-on style available to work weekends and peak trading events

- The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards while adapting to our unique funky environment
- Well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office & POS & Payroll systems
- The ability and confidence to facilitate training at all levels
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Approved manager certificate is required but not essential to get the job

**Salary**: $47,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
