Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Dietitian to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

A dedicated Dietitian is required to ensure quality teaching and supervision of QUT Nutrition and Dietetics students, and excellence in the provision of direct clinical care to patients within the QUT Health Clinics. Working to support the QHC Clinic Coordinator - Nutrition and Dietetics this growing clinic requires strong teamwork, clinical and education skills.

**What you need to succeed**

This role is dynamic and collaborative, and you will enjoy delivering service and operational excellence that ensures an exceptional experience for QUT students.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in dietetics with subsequent relevant experience, along with current accreditation with Dietitians Association Australia as an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
- Ability to be flexible, innovative and creative in a health care setting.
- Ability to incorporate into practice quality improvement activities and evidence based practice principles.
- Ability to impart caring, high quality client focused care in the provision of health services.
- Aptitude for team work and collaboration with staff across the university.
- Developed interpersonal skills, consultation, negotiation and effective written communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and develop teaching and clinical education skills in the provision of services to patients in conjunction with the clinical education of work integrated learning students within the curriculum.

To be eligible for appointment to this role, you will possess the following:

- Registered or registerable as a Dietitian by Dietitian and Nutritionist Regulatory Council (DNRC) including full registration in good standing as a Dietitian with the Australian Health Professions Regulation Agency (or international equivalent), and additional certification required for ongoing clinical practice or clinical supervision (blue card, CPR, first aid, and full vaccination including an approved COVID19 vaccine).
