Perth, Australia Next Day Consulting Full time

Hourly Rates, plus travel allwance and site allowances, company ute, $120k +
- Rebuilding & Maintaining Company Equipment, liaising with customers
- Friendly team, global company, 70 - 30 split (factory work to site work)

**Client**:
An engineering OEM company that specialises in custom design, as well as turnkey solutions for aerospace, mining, and oil and gas companies.

Newly created positions due to company growth, they're looking to appoint a mechanically biased service technician.

**You the Technician**:
Supporting operations to repair and maintain medium to large mining and military equipment that is currently being used to support their Western Australia operations. Excellent career progression into Leading Hand roles and more.

**Duties**:

- Supporting operations to repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostic work on components and special-purpose machinery
- Subcontracting to mine sites across WA, building and maintaining customer relationships - happy talking to external stakeholders
- Fault find and repair, maintenance checks of international equipment and systems - pumps, valves, motors, cogs, actuators & more
- Reading of technical documents for fault diagnosis and rectification
- Rebuild of capital equipment
- 70% warehouse plant-based 30% site based

**To be successful you will have**:

- Australian / New Zealand TAFE trade qualification OR an overseas HND / HNC equivalent
- 2-5 years post trade Fitting experience
- At least 1 years on medium to heavy engineering experience
- Excellent hydraulic and pneumatic components knowledge

**_You can be located anywhere in Perth, work will be based on their factory close to CBD with site work to support their Western Australia operations (mid-West & Pilbara. Excellent career progression into Leading Hand roles and more._**
