**About North West Private Hospital**

Established in 1984, North West Private has been providing excellent patient centred care for over 35 years to patients of the northern suburbs of Brisbane. We have 150 patient beds and provide services including Maternity/Women’s Health, Brisbane’s Early Parenting Centre, Internal Medicine Day Oncology/Haematology and additional services including Day Rehabilitation and outpatient Allied Health services.

The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites. We have been focused on delivering high-quality patient care and practising the Ramsay Way philosophy of _‘People Caring for People’_ since 1972.

Our multi deck car park provides easy, onsite parking, at no charge.

**About our Volunteer Program**

We are looking to build a small team of volunteers who will be allocated around the hospital to undertake a variety of valuable patient and family, or carer supports.

Flexible times, but ideally available: Monday to Friday, either morning or afternoon.

**_ E_**_xample volunteer activities include:_**
- _Welcome and escorting from front reception._
- _Tea and coffee making on wards._
- _Compilation of welcome packs._
- _Distributing reading material etc._

**How to Apply**

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to provide immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
