About the role
As the Supervisor Operational Services, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the Operational Services staff at Ipswich Hospital on a 24/7 rotating roster. You will support the management of the team by coordinating cleaning, porterage, waste, the mortuary, and linen services to meet organisational goals.
About you
- Ability and experience in supervising and providing training and support to the Operational Services team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in Operational Services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Proven organisational skills with ability to utilise problem solving strategies, prioritise and allocate tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 12/21 and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
