Seeking an experienced GIS Products Manager to start as soon as able for a State Government department

**Your new company**

A Government department in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced GIS Products Manager to start as soon as possible on an initial temporary basis. You will be based in the Perth CBD office, with occasional visits required to other Perth metro locations and also Regional WA. You will be paid on a competitive hourly rate and will work full-time hours.

**Your new role**

As the GIS Products Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of mapping products, standards and geospatial analysis program. Your duties will include:

- Coordinate activities associated with geospatial data capture
- Oversee team performance, supporting with staff training and development as needed
- Develop projects and manage project teams
- Develop, review and refine standards for mapping products
- Undertake mapping / GIS function in emergency response activities
- Liaise with key stakeholders around GIS products, ensuring they comply with organisation standards

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered you will have:

- Previous experience in managing and coordinating geospatial information, including data capture, interpretation, analysis and presentation
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and enthusiasm to face a challenge
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment
- The ability to complete a National Police Clearance if successful within the role
- A current 'C' or 'C.A.' Class Driver's Licence and own vehicle
