**About the Role**:
The Manager, Intensive Education Case Service will lead, manage and develop a team of Intensive Education Case Managers (IECMs) in supporting students and families with complex needs and backgrounds. The role will promote collaboration with other government and non-government agencies and lead the provision of high quality, evidence-based education case management for young people with complex histories and circumstances to achieve positive educational outcomes, transitions and pathways.
The Manager will oversee the delivery of best practice case management protocols, strategies and integrated supports to reduce lost days of learning and improve educational outcomes for students at risk of disengagement from education.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead, manage and develop staff to deliver evidence-based, innovative and effective case management support, governance and reporting activities, project management, and engagement initiatives in relation to intensive education case management.
- Lead and oversee the management of recruitment and selection, workforce planning, training and performance of staff to build capacity and ensure a high level of case management service delivery in line with departmental requirements
- Strategically manage and triage regional education case management caseloads and coordinate, analyse, develop, monitor and review regional case management governance and planning activities to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, legislation and policy, and adherence to stipulated timeframes by utilising individual and team capabilities.
