**Supercheap Auto **is seeking the next great leader to coach and support our passionate and talented team. As an **Area Manager**, you will be responsible for developing sales and operating budgets; as well as monitoring and driving sales performance of your store network. This role will have stores across our Sydney region, which encompasses approximately **14 store locations in Melbourne as well as regional locations in Victoria**

**In this position you will**:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Above anything, driving a customer first approach to the way we engage and deliver our products and services
- Monitoring and driving sales and our key performance metrics
- Monitor, manage and control key commercials that affect our income and profit as well as our wage budget
- Review and analyse our customer feedback and identifying opportunities to continually improve the experience for our customers
- Play a key role in engaging with your broader team around development and career discussions and contributing to their personal development plans
- Manage administration and compliance requirements across your area as well as supporting your Store Managers across your network

**To be successful in this position**
- You will be a seasoned retail leader with a background in Multi-Site store management at either the Cluster, Area or Regional level
- You will be inspirational in your approach, with a true passion for people and their development
- You have strong understanding of all Retail Store Operations - end to end
- You have experience managing commercials which may include Cost Control or managing or being responsible for your own P&L
- You have demonstrated experience in delivering on Sales Targets and KPI’s
- You have the ability to travel across your store network as and when needed
