**What you will do as** **the Payroll Officer**
The Payroll team provides assistance to employees with their pay and conditions which includes but is not limited to; salary queries, allowances, salary progression, payment of allowances and processing all leave types. As the Payroll Officer you will
- Complete activities associated with the processing of the fortnightly pay run
- Respond to employee pay enquiries
- Raise service tickets to the Payroll provider
- Assist with the preparation of leave liability assessments, cessation calculations, superannuation reviews.
**About you**
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
- strong numerical and analytical skills including an attention to detail and problem-solving ability, delivered in a payroll environment
- experience in, or the ability to quickly learn Aurion
- demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
- demonstrated experience working as part of a small team, providing exceptional client service
- interest in understanding relevant legislation and policy requirements.
