Sydney, Australia Easy Gutters & Roof PTY LTD Full time

**Role**:
Installs, maintains and repairs flashings, metallic roof and wall claddings and rainwater products such as gutters and downpipes..

**Job Duties**:

- Install gutters and downpipes to collect rainwater from the roof and direct it away from the building to prevent water damage.
- Install flashing materials, such as metal strips, around roof penetrations (such as chimneys, vents, and skylights) to prevent water from seeping into the building.
- Repairing and replacing damaged or leaking roofs by replacing broken tiles, repairing damaged flashing, or fixing faulty gutters and downpipes.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that roofs remain in good condition.
- Work with materials such as metal, plastic, and composite materials to fabricate and install roofing components.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and building specifications to ensure that roofing systems are installed correctly and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Work at heights, must be comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms, and adhere to strict safety procedures to prevent falls and accidents.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, welding equipment, and soldering irons to cut, shape, and join roofing materials.
- Work closely with other tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians to coordinate the installation of roofing systems as part of larger construction projects.
- Inspect completed roofing installations to ensure that they meet quality standards and perform tests to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
- Responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and repairs to existing roofing systems, replacing damaged components, and repairing leaks.
- Commit to safety standards and quality work.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
