THE ROLE
The Principal Policy Officer will lead on key projects under the Homes Victoria reform agenda and will provide crucial policy input into key cross-departmental housing initiatives.

**Are you a**:

- A strategic policy thinker, who engages at the big picture level and has a strong foundation of social policy skills in order to formulate and communicate a future vision for social housing reform.
- A collaborative personality who can influence and negotiate with key stakeholders within and outside government to drive forward key government reforms.
- A creative and innovative thinker who can draw on a wide range of resources to develop new solutions, underpinned by strong critical and analytical thinking.
- A strong project manager who can put in place robust project management practices to support delivery of policy reform.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Provide high quality authoritative advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government based on comprehensive research and input from relevant areas of the division, department and government.
- Oversee the development of policy and initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Review and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs and cabinet and agency submissions on complex issues.
