Warehouse Operator with Forklift and Gantry Experience Wanted

**Your new company**

Hays are currently recruiting for a warehouse operator for a large warehouse in Geelong. Are you a skilled warehouse operator with expertise in forklift and gantry operations? As a warehouse operator you will contribute to the efficient daily operations, while ensuring the quality assurance and dispatch preparation for all product manufactured and distributed.

**Your new role**
- Efficiently and safely operate forklifts and gantry cranes to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Ensure accurate inventory control by properly labelling, categorising, and storing goods
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to coordinate shipments and fulfil orders
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a warehouse operator, with a focus on forklift and gantry operations
- Valid forklift licence and experience in handling various loads
- Proficiency in operating gantry cranes and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Supporting references
- Drug and Alcohol Testing may be required
