**Role Overview**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Events Specialist to join our marketing team in Sydney. This role is responsible for overseeing Fortinet´s key sponsorship program; the PGA Championship, as well as manage Fortinet led conferences, third party tradeshows and channel marketing events. This role will also execute on customer and executive events across physical and digital touch points. Reporting into the Marketing Director, ANZ, this role will work closely with the Demand Gen, Channel Marketing and BDR Teams to meet pipeline and revenue goals.

**Responsibilities**:
This is a hands-on role with strong execution skills and experience in the IT industry and a background in events marketing.
- Manage the Sponsorships Program for PGA Championship and PGA associated tours; promotion and measurement of FTNT brand, customer engagement and activation. Manage budget, timelines and thought leadership sessions.
- Manage all trade show sponsorships from negotiating pricing, timeframes, messaging, promotion, post event engagement and measurement.
- Manage annual FTNT Cyber Security Roadshow. Work with product marketing, creative team and thought leaders to build out agenda and identify speakers. Manage event logistics, promotional plan and all asset, creative creation.
- Work closely with Demand Gen team and Product Marketing to manage and execute on FTNT Solution Summits. Venue locations, event website, invites.
- Ensure successful implementation, execution, program reporting set-up and ROI measurement of all programs through SFDC Dashboards.

**Requirements**:

- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a technology vendor, network security a plus.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Proven experience with managing large scale events and sponsorships; especially time management, organizational skills and ability to keep project deliverables on schedule.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and ensure all stakeholders are accountable.
- Effective communicator, ensure internal teams are briefed across each program and the outcomes to be achieved.
- Experience in collaborating with and managing agencies and vendors to develop creative assets.
- Creative thinker who is adept at working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable adding new ideas.
- Team player, motivated self-starter with relationship building skills with a positive attitude and passion to learn.
- Experience in using technologies SFDC, Eloqua, Swoogo a plus.
