Salary range: $100,682 -121,817 plus statutory superannuation

Be part of a forward-thinking, risk based regulator where ideas and opinions are valued. This role will require you to:

- lead and manage staff members in the Teacher Engagement and Registration Branch, to enable individual and team effectiveness, efficiency, professional growth and positive engagement;
- coach, train and develop staff to meet their role expectations and professional development goals
- analyse VIT business system data to identify risks, issues and trends. Propose, plan and implement effective resourcing and technical solutions.

- demonstrated operational management, change management and resource planning skills to deliver strategic and operational goals
- strong organisational and risk awareness and an ability to influence others and negotiate agreed outcomes
- high-level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster inclusive and positive relationships within and across teams

We are seeking applicants with passion for child safety. Experience working with the education sector or a similar regulatory environment, preferred but not requisite.
