**About the Role**
In this key leadership role, you will oversee the effective functioning of the Placement Officer Teams for Brisbane & Perth. This position is integral to driving team performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, and performing as a Placement Officer when required.
**Key Accountabilities will include**:
- **Team Leadership and KPI Management - **Manage and drive the achievement of KPIs for the Placement Officer team, including 100% compliance and constant increase in the placement per Placement Officer ratio
- ** Issue Resolution and Student Support
- **Effectively address escalated student issues related to placements; Collaborate with Placement Officers to identify & resolve students’ challenges
- **Induction, Onboarding & Professional Development
- **Lead team induction and onboarding processes for new Placement Officers; Provide ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance performance.
- ** Workload Management and Resource Allocation
- **Effectively manage the workload across the national placement team
- ** Placement Officer Responsibilities - **Proactively assume the role of a Placement Officer for any region as necessary or when directed by the National Placement Manage.
- ** Execute Placement Duties**: Perform key placement responsibilities, which encompass matching students to suitable opportunities, conducting interviews, overseeing the placement process, and ensuring strict adherence to AE’s placement policies
**About you**
- Diploma or Degree in Community Service or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience and capabilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education or customer service.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with InPlace or similar placement management systems.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to undergo training on new systems and technologies.
