Frankston, Australia Me and You Care Support Services PL Full time

We are seeking reliable, empathetic and dedicated support workers to join our growing and supportive team to make a positive impact on our participants with a range of disabilities to empower them to live independently.

The role involves supporting various participants, which could include managing physical disabilities, mental health and personal care, ensuring their participants safety, well-being, and promoting their independence and the chance to build meaningful relationships in a rewarding sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic duties.
- Support clients to participate in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of daily activities, incidents, and progress.
- Engage in activities that promote the individual's social, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with disability ( preferred )
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to quality care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $43.23 - $77.81 per hour
