**The Opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge to join our teaching team as a **Teacher of Mathematics**. This role is permanent full time and requires you to be based on the **Blacktown** campus. You may also be required to work at other campuses within the Western Sydney region. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, including pre-vocational courses, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**
You thrive on mentoring students and sharing your extensive experience and knowledge. You will have demonstrated experience in delivering training and are open minded to learning new skills for online delivery in virtual learning environments. Highly motivated, you can work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders including industry and students.

**To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated**:

- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2 years course work in Mathematics
- Minimum of one-year post-qualification experience in a relevant teaching role
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
- To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

**Highly Regarded**
- NESA accreditation and experience teaching in a high school setting
- Experience in delivery of Higher School Certificate (HSC) courses and/or Year 12 equivalent courses
- Ability to teach advanced statistics
