Excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator position based in Melbourne

Duration: 18 months fixed term position

Location: Swanston Street, Melbourne CBD

Work type: Hybrid (3days office and 2 days home)

**Salary**: Up to 100000 + Super.

Other benefits: 5 weeks leave with additional 12 days off and salary packaging.

**Your new role**

The Project Coordinator ensures that projects are aligned to Department’s Strategic Plan and meet governance, reporting and execution requirements. The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination of project management activities to ensure that organizational projects are delivered efficiently and to a high level of quality.

In this role you will,
- Support the Project Manager to ensure effective management of projects with guidance and support from a Project Manager coordinate smaller ICT projects.
- Escalate outstanding tasks and actions to Project Manager as needed
- Provide business and technical advise on project issues and risks requiring escalation and documentation
- Maintain project documentation including Project Initiation Document, Project register, change requests, and project status reports.
- Work alongside the PM to maintain high-quality project schedules
- Liaise with key stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Understanding of project management methodology and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Preferred to have project management qualification (Prince2, MSP, Agile, Lean)
- Good to have knowledge of Quality management processes
- Good to have knowledge of change management
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
