**Boarding House Supervisor - Residential (Live In) Position**

**Commencing October 2025**

**The Southport School is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding school for boys situated on the banks of the beautiful Nerang River in the heart of the Gold Coast. The Southport School has been established for over 120 years and is committed to providing excellence in leadership, learning and teaching, pastoral care and extra-curricular endeavors within a balanced, holistic Christian environment.

We are extremely proud to say that boarding life has always been an integral feature of TSS since the first boarders arrived in 1909 into Thorold, McKinley, and Delpratt Houses. The boarders bring to TSS their unique personal qualities and perspectives and are foundational in providing a unique community within a community in our School.

In the role of **Boarding House Supervisor,** you will be asked to **provide between 10-15 hours per week of residential supervisory duty**- this is all rostered so there are no surprises, and you can work your duties around your commitments. In return for your time, we offer you:

- **Single accommodation** (studio room with kitchenette and ensuite) for a full year.
- We cover all the **utility costs** (rates, rent, water, power) including internet and Wi-Fi.
- ** On-site catering** for all meals during term time (37 weeks per year)
- ** Free access** to the extensive onsite facilities (gym, pool, tennis courts, free parking)

To be considered for this role applicants should:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate including CPR
- Be willing to complete ABSA Level 1 Boarding/Duty of Care qualification - facilitated once appointed
- Be a 2022 high school graduate minimum
- Have a passion and interest in working with and supporting the wellbeing and safety of young people as a mentor and a support person in a supervisory capacity

All applicants must hold or be eligible to hold a working with children paid blue card and should be prepared to provide a recent criminal history check.
