**Role Description/Criteria**

Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic, suitably qualified Learning Support Officer to commence Term 1, 2026. This opportunity is 12 months, fixed term. 0.8 - 1.0 FTE.

The successful applicant will possess:

- relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
- experience supporting students with significant academic, social, emotional and/or physical needs together with a willingness to support students’ personal care requirements
- an ability to support students across all learning areas and year levels
- an enthusiasm to work collaboratively and an ability to work successfully within a team
- clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- a strong work ethic and use initiative to provide optimal student support
- a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or be willing to engage in further education in the area
- a current Working With Children Check and Victorian Police Check or be willing to undertake if successful for the position
- relevant permissions to work in Australia

**Salary**: Based on experience in accordance with the Education Support Officer - Category B scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).
