Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor on full time basis in Gepps Cross, SA who can work to ensure warehouse operations are conducted in line with Metcash policies and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding all agreed targets by driving a cohesive team and working environment.

What you'll do

Monitor and control operations, considering the transportation schedule and store service level and to ensure dispatch operations are run effectively to meet the set schedule and in-bound activities run effectively to ensure received items are put-away efficiently without impacting the pick-pack operation.

Take actions to ensure that reduce the operating costs of the warehouse

Ensure workforce planning meets business requirements and able to build effective working relationships with managers, supervisor and key team members to ensure that the DC is staffed effectively and efficiently

Ensure all OHS, company policies and legislation is adhered to at all times.

What you'll bring

Experience in FMCG operations and leading teams

Use of continuous improvement tools and methods and warehouse supervisory experience

Intermediate Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook - Knowledge of EEO, OH&S and HACCP Regulations

Strong problem-solving skills with extensive knowledge of OH&S practices and experience with automated warehousing systems (Desirable)

Certificate IV in Competitive systems and practices (Desirable)
