**The Position**
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer at a well-established global company located in South West Sydney. This will require someone who can start on an immediate basis or short notice (1-2 weeks notice). This role is a 6-month contract position, with the view for permanency following this and is paying an attractive salary. The company offers flexible working arrangements and has a fantastic working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable including:

- Processing invoices and credit notes;
- Matching and ensuring invoices have been taken up against the relevant purchase orders
- Processing overseas payments
- Account reconciliations;
- Checking and maintaining supplier ageing report and Creditor trial balance
- Gaining necessary approvals for payment of invoices;
- Monitoring the Accounts Payable Inbox.

**Skills and Experience**:

- End-to-end accounts payable experience
- Must be able to multi-task
- Confident communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Microsoft Navision is our ERP - user friendly. Experience with an ERP system is advantageous.
