We have shifts available in Northern suburbs, we are recruiting for people in or near**:Samford, Ferny Hills, Enoggera, The Gap, Bardon, Indooroopilly.**

**About the role with Spinal life**:
As a Personal Support Worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have an acquired spinal cord injuries by assisting with daily tasks at our clients’ homes.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
- Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
- Basic wound care and self-medication.
- Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.
- Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.

**What do you need**:

- You are an excellent listener who can communicate authentically and honestly and are able to work independently.
- Can work a fixed fortnightly roster.
- A current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
- A smartphone device
- Ability to obtain a Blue and NDIS screening card.
