**About Us**:
JRC Civils is an earthworks and concrete contractor based in Perth, Western Australia. Experienced in construction projects spanning civil infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and mining sectors, involving activities such as formwork, steel reinforcement, and concrete installation across a diverse range of projects.
**Position Overview**:
As an HR Advisor in our civils company, you will be at the heart of our HR operations. Your role is instrumental in providing specialised HR support to meet the distinct demands of the civil engineering industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Records and Data: Keeping track of employee records and data, often using computer systems to manage this information.
- HR Advice: Providing guidance to management on policies, procedures, staff performance, and disciplinary matters. This includes ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- New Employee Orientation: Assisting new hires with their introduction to the company, explaining employment terms, salaries, and growth opportunities.
- Job Matching: Connecting job openings within the organisation with employees who are seeking new opportunities.
- Conflict Resolution: Handling and resolving employment-related conflicts and disputes within the workplace.
- Legal Compliance: Staying informed about and ensuring adherence to labour laws, contracts, and agreements.
- Policy Development: Creating workplace policies, programs, and agreements to promote a positive work environment and productive relations among employees.
- Employee Participation: Overseeing and supporting workplace committees and initiatives aimed at involving employees in decision-making and improvements within the company.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor with more than three years of experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labour laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- Human resources management: 3 years (preferred)
