We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, highly motivated and talented Front Office Receptionist to join our front office team at Quest Dandenong Central.
The property is a 4.5 star rated property located in Dandenong CBD (walking distance to train station) and offers 95 Studio, One, Two and Three Bedrooms Apartments as well as a modern and stylish environment with high quality amenities.
Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for a highly motivated person with the passion for providing outstanding results to join our successful front office team. You will be a problem solver with strong organizational and communication skills, who is focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
**What will you do?**
- Greeting guests on check-in and check-out and generating leads for sales.
- Assist with guest enquiries and manage guest feedback.
- Answering phones to both in-house guests and external calls, converting enquiries to bookings.
- Ensuring Quest best practice is followed at all times and the level of service provided to guests is always delivered to an exceptionally high standard.
- Maintain accuracy of guest accounts.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm
- Adaptability/flexibility with work hours (including weekends and public holidays **is a must**).
- System knowledge of "RMS" is highly regarded.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Provide support to all departments.
**What are we looking for?**
You will be a relationship focused person with a strong operations understanding, results driven with the confidence and presence to connect with and inspire your team. You will possess first rate communication and influencing skills whilst not being afraid of getting hands-on when needed.
To ensure the property runs smoothly you will use your strong communication skills, which in turn will allow you to confidently liaise with the other departments including Sales, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Quest Corporate Office.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, a high level of attention to detail, strong interpersonal and time management skills, and a passion for customer service.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following;
- The ability to deliver within designated time frames.
- Previous experience in Front Office within a 4 to 5 star Hotel highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding or the Front Office standards and procedures.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal & communication skills
- Extremely high attention to detail.
- Impeccable presentation.
- Strong sales focus with particular emphasis on lead generation and booking conversion.
- Computer literacy (experience with RMS and Siteminder systems highly regarded)
- First Aid Certificate highly regarded.
