Description

Our Norman Park centre is seeking an experienced Art Teacher, with a tertiary visual art qualification and a recognised early childhood qualification, you will have the skill and passion to teach young children the fundamental foundations of art and art appreciation.

To be successful in these roles you must be able to work up to 37.5 hours per week across 5 days (Monday-Friday).

Working with groups of children from aged 2.5 -5 years old. You will need to be creative and have a clear vision of what a high quality early childhood art curriculum should look and feel like.
- Your hours of work will be 7.30 am to 3.30 pm
- Cert 3 in childcare and Educator or Diploma in Childcare and Educator or willing to study
- Tertiary level Visual Arts qualification,
- Minimum 2 years in a similar position as art teacher for younger children
- First aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training

- Excellent understanding of EYLF,
- Excellent communication and team work skills
