**About the role**

As the Cafe Manager/Head Barista at ONICE in Mosman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this bustling cafe. This is a full-time role that will see you taking the lead in managing the front-of-house team, driving exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest standards of coffee and food preparation. Expecting to start in Early Feb 2025.

**What you'll be doing**
- Supervising and training the cafe's barista and service staff to deliver consistently excellent customer experiences
- Maintaining the highest standards of coffee and food preparation in line with ONICE's brand and quality expectations
- Overseeing inventory management, staff rostering, and administrative duties to ensure smooth cafe operations
- Identifying opportunities to improve cafe efficiency, productivity and profitability
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and complaints
- Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture and leading by example

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as a cafe manager or head barista with a minimum 5 years experience in similar role, with a strong understanding of cafe operations and customer service best practices.
- Exceptional barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or barista training, or equivalent work experience, with weekend availability and RSA a must.
