**The Opportunity**
Nextt has an immediate opportunity for a **Casual Disability Support Worker** to work in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Residence in Thornlands. The roster times are as follows:

**Week 1**
- Monday 600am - 900am
- Tuesday Off
- Wednesday Off
- Thursday 14.00 - 22.00pm & sleepover
- Friday Off
- Saturday 6.00am - 10.00am
- Sunday Off

**Week 2**
- Monday 6.00am - 9.00am
- Tuesday Off
- Wednesday 15.00pm - 22.00pm & sleepover
- Thursday 6.00am - 8.30am
- Friday Off
- Saturday Off
- Sunday Off

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience in Disability Support Work
- Compassion for people with disability and/or mental illness
- A relevant qualification

**The role may involve**
- Community access and recreational activities
- Personal care
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
- Transportation and social engagement

**Essential Criteria**
- The legal right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Employee Blue Card/Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian Driver licence with reliable transport
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Employees will be required to abide by all mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory that they work.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.95 - $50.00 per hour
