The Role

Job description

This position lies within one of KBR’s IWP teams, as an ILSP within ISREW Joint and Air (CASG).

This position is responsible for liaising with ILSM within the SMU to ensure new items are captured for identification the ILSP is responsible for all identification of all SMU equipment including Lab equipment for CD&V, the position also supports but not limited to RSS8000 and all equipment related to platforms such as test beds and RF testing and verification, CEESIM, EXTASS, LIARCM and a raft of other EW items. Other activities include creation of MILIS transactions tracking of equipment records to ensure correct management IAW the ESCM. Publication creation and amendment responsibilities. Engineering tasks include registration of any significant Ti affecting the SMU IOT ensure engineering capture for the platform of affected by any changes. Flow on affects or outcomes usually involve the ILSP to action a fleet or platform management task as an outcome. This position has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction.

**An example of tasks include**:
Liaising with internal J&ASPO and JEWOSU stakeholders

Use of Emerald to update tasking

Drafting web forms applicable to ILSP

Review codification files and PIOS

Implementation of publication updates IAW AAP7000.003

Assisting ILSM for any data gathering for assistance with platform tasks

Assist as required with section 23, ETPs to enable SMU SPO

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support Project Managers for fleet ILSP tasks including;
Maintaining MILIS records

Maintain Equipment identification b

Action Defects through the Emerald process

Maintain OBJ files and register

Create PIOS records in OBJ adding to catalogue

Amend / create AAPs as required

Progress and action TMP amendments

Create Ti in Emerald and progress with Engineering team

Update ADAASS for applicable platforms

Rectify NSN catalogue tasks for ERP

Assist SMU by back filling ILSM as required by managing current tasks to ensure current tasks remain actioned, an understanding of EW greatly assists

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Prior management or ILS Support roles, ideally within CASG/ASD/ADF or Defence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent client liaison and stakeholder management skills

Experience in relating sustainment project/program advice to various business areas

The ability to identify knowledge gaps, and ask appropriate questions to close those gaps with the ability and drive to learn new think

The ability to be honest and speak up when task remediation is required and the ability to identify solutions to problems

Support and promotes a team culture and collaborative approach to tasking

Have an active NV2 or TSPV clearance with experience using the relevant Defence IT systems
