A trusted partner for the Australian Defence and security communities, this leading organisation is at the forefront of developing advanced technology solutions for the country. The organization revolves around a core focus on research, prioritizing transformation and high-quality output. An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Project Support Officer to join this expanding team.
Working alongside a team of skilled experts across technology and projects, you will help play a vital role in monitoring project progress on a day-to-day basis and compiling project status reports for project managers and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project's life cycle with reporting of key project data. Additionally, you will be tasked with general maintenance of project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule as per the instructions provided by both the project and corporate teams.
You will bring to the role:
- Due to the nature of this role, Australian Citizenship is essential. You must be eligible to hold and maintain Australian Security Clearance - NV1
- Experience in a Project Administration or Project support role.
- Background in Government or Defence is desirable.
- Demonstrated skills across Microsoft office suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and detail oriented.
