Minimum $30.79 - $32.79 per hour | 6-month contract with the possibility of extension

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 9am-4pm

Week 2: Monday to Friday : 9am-4pm

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare‘s Values. You will play a crucial role in resident’s overall wellbeing.

**Your primary functions will be**:

- Facilitating wellbeing through an individualised lifestyle and wellbeing program
- Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living such as assisting with meals & drinks, toileting, and grooming, including maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Mobility support: Helping seniors with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions.
- Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident’s health or behavior.
- Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
- Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

**Skills & Experience**
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
