We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payables Officer to join our Finance team at mecwacare. The Finance Officer - Accounts Payables plays a key role within the finance department providing accounts payables support. The role is varied ensuring the completion of the day-to-day activities for weekly accounts payable processing and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner, observing all audit and regulatory requirements, whilst maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships. This is a three-year contract with opportunity for extension.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Accounts payables experience (minimum 3 years) with a working knowledge of financial procedures
- Experienced in use of computerised payables systems
- Customer service focused with excellent telephone communication skills
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
- Sound administrative and organisational skills
- Demonstrated time management ability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to a team environment

**Desirable**:

- Dynamics Great Plains system experience
- Kwiktag document management system experience
