As a Technical Specialist, you will support with connecting customer to solutions and creating a value add approach. Your skill set in the fastening and power tool industry will be crucial in partnering with the Sales and Customer Teams to identify opportunities and solutions to create a compelling offering for our customers.

This is a **permanent, full-time opportunity **and will be based onsite at **Blackwoods, Carole Park.**

**What you’ll do**:

- Build, develop, and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers, using technical expertise to identify and deliver tailored solutions
- Provide technical sales support for fastening and power tool products, collaborating with our sales teams and vendors
- Maintain an opportunity pipeline, using performance reports, market insights, and customer feedback to drive sales and market share growth
- Utilise your product knowledge and expertise to support our sales and customer service teams
- Assist with quote and tender responses, recommending best products for specific requirements
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive innovation and excellence

**What you’ve got**:

- Proven experience delivering technical expertise in the fastening, power tool or similar industry
- A desire to work face-to-face with customers, providing them with tailored technical solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to engage with our clients and stakeholders
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset to build positive relationships across different functions within the organisation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of CRM systems being highly regarded
