Cater Care Retail seeks to appoint an **energetic and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor** to join our team at the Sunshine Coast Airport. We pride ourselves on working with local suppliers to help bring that coastal feeling and scene of place to the Airport. We are looking for someone to lead a great team of people to help bring that feeling alive

As the Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for staff supervision, rostering, stock control and will take a hands-on approach working alongside the team. You will be confident in staff supervision & problem solving to ensure the best customer experience every time.

This role will suit the type of person who thrives on good old-fashioned customer service, who leads by example and can supervise and build a cohesive team.

Current operating hours are from 8:30am - 10pm. Must be available for a mix of morning & night shifts including weekends. (Thursday availability each week is essential)

**In this position, you will**:

- Provide clear direction to a staff on shift working alongside the Duty Manager & Outlet Manager
- Have real responsibility that plays a crucial part in running our venue
- Work with a wide selection of local spirits, wine & craft beer
- Prepare & serve tap beers, wines & cocktails
- Build & create great relationships with staff & customers
- Ensure service standards are to a high quality
- Manage staff operations including rostering & filling shifts
- Opening & closing procedures including end of day banking
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Communicate and work alongside the management team to ensure a great working environment

- All staff working in airports must be successful in obtaining an ASIC security card (completed at contract award)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.87 - $37.31 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- MARCOOLA, QLD 4564: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
