Located in South Bowenfels, the Lithgow Campus is considered as a comprehensive community health centre supporting approximately 20,000 people living in the town and surrounding areas. The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit.
An exciting opportunity has opened up as a Maintenance Supervisor working at Lithgow Hospital on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
The successful incumbent will provide day to day maintenance supervision for the purpose of maintaining works to buildings, services and equipment. This includes supervising trade staff, contractors, business systems, stock control and prioritisation of work orders. Ensuring that activities are maintained in line with Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) policy.

**What you will bring to the role**:
- Membership of the Institute of Hospital Engineering, Australia - NSW Branch Engineering or other Trade qualifications relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated work experience in the facilities/asset management industry, with extensive Mechanical, HVAC and/or Electrical experience
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal & written communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and decision making and understanding of clinical requirements of a health care environment, or that of a critical infrastructure environment.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate staff, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage day to day staffing issues.
- Demonstrated management and supervisory skills with a varied and diverse staff group
- Proficient Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook,Word and Excel),significant experience in use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System(CMMS) and BMS(Building Management System)
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
- Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
