WHO YOU ARE

You are passionate about technology and digital innovation and turning software engineering trends into practice.

You are someone who builds digital products effectively and helps to shape the product through active contribution in product conversations, providing a strong technical voice in the product development process to achieve sound product/technical trade-offs. You are somewhere in between an Engineer and Product Owner - technical at heart but with a keen eye for solving business problems. You are curious and ask questions, always keeping the customer in mind and how we ensure we meet their needs.

You possess strong communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various the business, articulating what is feasible in a way that relates to your audience. You are outcome focused, and a systemic thinker with a bias towards action. Possessing sound knowledge of software, solution architecture and information flows, you work towards remove blockers to getting new ideas developed - someone with strong technical competence but has an ability to see the bigger picture of what digital can offer.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Product Specialist you’re responsible for maintaining our portfolio of existing local solutions and working cross-functionally across the business, and the digital function to identify future country needs. Your key responsibilities include:

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of products and solutions by working as part of cross functional teams in the business.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and translate needs into product ideas
- Where agreed, act as a technical expert in regards to integration and connectivity methods, protocols, security, and practices for both internal and external database management systems and infrastructure.
- Produce all required specifications and ensure that digital solutions work together and fulfill business needs by collaborating with developers in other countries and in Central Group Digital as well as external vendors.
- Monitor local technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits
- Work across initiatives within Ingka Group, steering successful digital product integration and development

Working together with all functions, we ensure co-workers have the Digital tools and capabilities they need to do their best work.
