**Your Impact**

Reporting into the Head of Category for Carlton United Beverages (CUB) (proudly part of Asahi Beverages) the Spirits Category Manager role will lead, develop and embed category thinking, insights and strategy across CUB and with our Trade Partners. It will be key in Identifying growth opportunities and partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver these opportunities; playing a key role in being an indispensable trade partner.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and delivering category insights and strategy that are at the heart of Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales decision making
- Playing a lead role in strategic innovation and customer engagement
- Initiating, developing and leading key projects to identify and turn strategic category problems into growth initiatives for CUB and our customers
- Providing clear recommendations on range & space strategies across existing sku’s and NPD
- Translating the category strategy into Joint Business Plans, Category Reviews, Customer Deep Dives and NPD engagement decks whilst partnering with Marketing, Sales and Trade Marketing/Customer Marketing on delivery and execution
- Creating and delivering category sell stories to our external customers that highlight our joint opportunities to drive category growth (through Joint Business Plans, Category Reviews, NPD sell in with a clear focus on range/space recommendations)

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Must have strong Scan Data analytics capability with experience in shopper analytics (HomeScan, IHP, Quantium and Summit Visual Insights experience highly regarded)
- Previous experience across Category, Trade Marketing and/or Account Management
- Previous Spirits Category experience (Supplier, Agency or Retailer) required
- FMCG/Liquor experience with major accounts (Woolworths/Endeavour, Coles, IBA, LMG) highly regarded
- Ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally
- Project & Stakeholder Management
- Bachelor’s degree or Tertiary Education highly regarded
