The Opportunity
We’ve had a new opportunity open at our Keswick store and we are now on the lookout for a technician / automotive mechanic to join the team.
Our Keswick store is currently a team of four, soon to be five and they are a close-knit group. In this full-time role you’ll play an important job in delivering a high-quality service in a role that is interesting and varied. Our Keswick store team members have a lot of pride in the work that they do, so we are on the lookout for an experienced individual who also shares this view and cares about the work they deliver.
Importantly there are many career progression opportunities available to Technician’s at Pedders and in fact in the past our Technician roles have proved to be a great breeding ground for talent with many of our team members today having been involved in the technician space.
Key Responsibilities
- Wheel alignment
- General repair of suspension and steering components
- Brake repairs
- Fault diagnosis
- Moderate electrical installations including towbars
- Liaise with customers

What You Bring To The Team
- Experience as a Mechanic and/or Brake Technician
- Have worked across different vehicle makes and models
- Full drivers’ licence with ability to drive manual
- Strong verbal communication skills
- A team player with attention to detail
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred)
- Experience in basic wheel alignment (preferred)
