**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Director Integrity, the Manager, Fraud and Corruption Detection leads the department's fraud and corruption detection and response function. The Fraud and Corruption Detection Team is responsible for the detection and investigation of fraud, corruption and improper conduct including the operation of the department's Public Interest Disclosure regime and liaison with the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) and Victorian Ombudsman (VO).
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Effectively develops and coaches staff to deliver on key priorities and foster innovative thinking.
- Provides confidential, timely, high-quality and accurate advice and information on sensitive and complex public interest disclosures, fraud and corruption or other integrity issues in both verbal and written form.
- Negotiate with senior stakeholders and peers to increase buy-in and with the aim of effectively and cooperatively resolving employee investigations and reviews issues and ensuring the department adopts a culture of continual service improvement.
