Our client has been in operation in Australian market for the last 20 years and is one Australia's top 10 and fastest growing supermarket retailers in the country that pride themselves on being good, different.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor to oversee and help manage the casual container unloaders, forklift drivers and transport loading crew in our client's new upcoming site, based in North Rocks

**The Role**:
Working in a supervisory position as part of the Chiller team, you will be responsible for the effective leadership, mentoring and ongoing support of your crew. Other tasks may include**:

- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and profitable yard operation
- Trailer loading/unloading, load-restraint and ensuring the corresponding paperwork is accurate
- Traffic management of all equipment
- Admin tasks where required
- Working with Section Leaders to plan out daily requirements and allocation of work to casuals
- Assisting the team from time-to-time to help manually unloading 20-40ft containers
- Assisting forklift drivers (if you hold a forklift licence) and transport loading team

**Full availability Monday to Friday (5 days per week) is essential for this role**

**Essential Criteria**:

- Forklift licence would be ideal but not essential to aid in helping the forklift team
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory position
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- A strong customer service orientation
- Physically fit
- Own transport
- Shifts starting at 8:30am
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to manage a team of 15-20 casuals
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
