Talent Focus are seeking Mechanical Fitters for a leading manufacturer based in Western Sydney
- Based in Western Sydney
- 6am-2:30pm
- $45/hour + super
- Full-Time **permanent**:

**Position Purpose**
Provide timely and effective Day to Day Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability support to enable the operation of the manufacturing area to operate efficiently and to their production plan and to provide support for the ongoing plant efficiency improvements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To ensure that the plant can be operated safely with mínimal downtime and waste.
- Work closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
- Assessing and prioritising breakdown service requirements in line with business requirements.
- Comply with all responsibilities as described in the Work Health Safety Management Systems procedures and Safe Work Instructions.
- Show a great deal of initiative and be a strong advocate of teamwork.
- Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure correct procedures, methods, policies and standards are followed.
- Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Possess the capability to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines
- Work with Pneumatic & Hydraulic equipment
- **Current drivers license.**:

- **Full Working rights and Residency in AUSTRALIA**:

- High level communicator, both written and verbal
- Have strong planning and organising skills
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment
- Can troubleshoot problems and provide all reactive maintenance support
- Fault finding and attending to breakdowns experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- **Trade qualified**:

- **Welding experience**:

- **Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience - preferred**:

- Is strongly focused on Workplace Health and Safety
- Positive attitude, willing to do, willing to learn.

**Work Eligibility**: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (required)
