**The Opportunity**:

- Full-time permanent role.
- Monday - Friday local role.
- Penalties paid for overtime worked.
- Fortnightly tool allowance.
- Immediate start.

- Construct, assemble, and repair the body structures of trailers according to engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Perform welding tasks as required to join various components, ensuring structural integrity and strength.
- Customise trailers as per customer requirements, including installing doors, ramps, shelving, and other accessories.
- Conduct quality inspections at each stage of production to identify and rectify defects, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Safely handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment required for the assembly process.
- Work closely with colleagues and employees within different departments/division, such as welding, painting, and assembly, to ensure seamless production flow.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing suggestions and feedback to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as directed by management to support the overall goals and success of the organization.

**To be considered you must have / be willing to obtain**:

- Trade qualification in fabrication, vehicle body building, or related field.
- Proven experience as a vehicle body builder or similar role in a manufacturing setting, preferably in trailer manufacturing.
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
- 3-5 years’ experience working with road transport (fabrication, repair, maintenance) (desirable).

**The Process**

All shortlisted personnel must be able to attend a face to face interview at our WA office, and pass a full pre-employment medical as well as drug & alcohol testing prior to employment.
