Would you like work with Australia's largest integrated transport provider, helping to build world-leading technology from the chassis upward?

We have an amazing opportunity for someone to be immersed in building, fabricating and welding vehicle bodies using world leading hydrogen and electric chassis technology, while partnered with a well-respected automotive specialist in the role of Apprentice Vehicle Body Builder.

You will be supported by a highly regarded training organisation, working towards a nationally recognised qualification, working a 9-day fortnight. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have learnt how to shape and construct complex frameworks, which are welded glued and bolted to the chassis of vehicles, as well as exposing you to a variety of automotive skills, including fitting a variety of parts and accessories, and engineering plan interpretation.

To be successful for the role, you ideally will possess the following:

- Excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and self-motivated to perform
- Reliable and committed to seeing this apprenticeship through from commencement to completion
- Ideally, completed a fabrication/vehicle body building or automotive pre-apprenticeship.
- Experience with hand/power tools
- Passion for the motor industry
- Good communication skills
- Hold a current manual drivers licence
- Be able to obtain a Police clearance
- Agree to undertake regular Drug and Alcohol screening.
