**About the opportunity**

We are currently seeking a junior or recently graduated **Data Analyst** with strong communication skills and **can-do attitude** to join our team at our **Head Office in Sydney CBD.**

**This role will be a dedicated** **to capture, analysis and storage of data to support Moran Health Care Group (MHCG) make informed decisions.

The goals of this role are to support the Moran Home to deliver care and services, support the Head Office Operations team including Risk & Performance, People & Culture, Marketing and Information Technology. The priorities are determined by and are consistent with our strategic and organisational priorities. Reporting to the Performance Analyst you will gain valuable experience in planning, development, maintenance, managing and administration of the organisations' database management systems, operating systems and security policies and procedures to ensure optimal database and system integrity, security, backup, reliability and performance.

You will work with a wonderful team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

**About the Role**
- Develop, implement, and maintain analytics to support data driven solutions within compliance and governance frameworks.
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth, improvement, efficiencies through analysis of complex data sets.
- Design and implement required reports and dashboards.
- Evaluate organisational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets.
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
- Work directly with management and users to gather requirements and provide status updates.

**About You**
- Degree in a related field and/or Business Analytics and IT Knowledge or currently studying
- Detailed understanding of, and practical experience of using different data tools to transform and analyse different data sets
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools (Power BI)
- Strong quantitative abilities including the ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of financial modelling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other analytical tools
- Current Driver’s Licence
