Staff Specialist Cardiology

**Your new role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist to join our dynamic Department of Medicine at Redland Hospital, delivering high-quality clinical services and contributing to ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Providing expert inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including advanced cardiac imaging and potential training in CT coronary angiogram reporting.
Leading clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives in alignment with national standards.
Participating in multidisciplinary team care, teaching junior medical staff, and supporting ongoing professional development.
**About you**:
Registration and qualifications consistent with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and eligibility to practice in Queensland.
Experience in general cardiology with advanced skills in cardiac imaging (e.g., TOE, TTE, stress echo) and willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rosters.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring medical staff and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
