Your New Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist to join our dynamic Department of Medicine at Redland Hospital, delivering high-quality clinical services and contributing to ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including advanced cardiac imaging and potential training in CT coronary angiogram reporting.
• Leading clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives in alignment with national standards.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team care, teaching junior medical staff, and supporting ongoing professional development.

Education*
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled cardiologist with a commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient safety. You will demonstrate:

• Registration and qualifications consistent with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and eligibility to practice in Queensland.
• Experience in general cardiology with advanced skills in cardiac imaging (e.g., TOE, TTE, stress echo) and willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rosters.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring medical staff and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
