Blue Hills Rise is currently seeking the expertise of 1 Cleaner to join the team at our Cranbourne East Retirement Village working Part-time shifts Monday - Thursday.

The successful applicants main objectives will be to ensure that all Club areas are clean, tidy and presentable at all times, this role may include weekly cleaning of 16 - 2 Bedroom Apartments and other areas within the Club Facility including Pool, Gym, Hair Dresser, Café and Restaurant your role may also include other duties such as tidying, cleaning and maintaining outdoor furniture and areas, cleaning display homes, assisting residents within the club facility during community events and assisting with cleaning our kitchen areas.

To be successful you must have;
- Previous cleaning experience specifically within the retirement living, aged care or healthcare industry will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of the use of equipment and chemicals associated with the role.
- Knowledge and experience with infection control and cleaning requirements and schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to work unsupervised.
- Current Driver’s License - helpful, not necessary
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
- Police Records Check at Applicants expense
- Proactive, positive outlook - with a genuine interest in assisting our elderly residents.

This position will consist of 20hrs per week over the 4 days or as agreed. The positions will be expected to commence on 16th September 2024 or close to it.
